Ed & Mike have been friends a long time. They have studied the Bible together in
DC and then led a DC group together. They have an interesting dynamic that they
think honors God when they study together, the “odd couple” of Bible
Study, the “grumpy old men” of the New Covenant.
We have different backgrounds that play off each other: when Ed tells you he has studied but is still clueless
about Leviticus and sometimes wonders why it’s even in the Bible— Mike will tell you that’s his favorite book.
Ed is an Armenian, Mike is a Calvinist.
Mike is a strong relationship builder who keeps up with people well, if we are His
Body his hands are going. Ed points out that a body needs not just hands but a butt, and he is good at being one. (No, he didn’t say
butt but he should have, God is not finished with him yet.) Ed is more likely to find a Patton quote and say the blunt honest thing when needed, (but people who would join us should know he does not support slapping people like Patton did, and that we are trying to be a little funny here —to get you to join us, we like to have fun when we study, this should give you a taste.)
Join us Tuesday mornings at 6am at Starbucks on Blankenbaker (see map below) and learn about Jesus with us—which is what it is about.
Email Mike for info, no guarantee Ed will get back to you.

We do accountability with each other and what is said in the study stays
there—and the blog is just a short weekly post with insights we found
powerful and timely in God’s Word that, we hope, will edify and encourage those who
join us.
